  • We are privileged to house a private collection of original Rudy Ruana knives, dating back to 1938. Each piece in this exceptional collection tells its own unique story, a testament to the artistry and craftsmanship that has defined Ruana Knives for generations. These timeless works of art are more than just tools—they are heirlooms, rich with history and steeped in the legacy of one of the most revered names in bladesmithing.

  • Washington knifemaker, Andrea Lisch is both a bladesmith and a blacksmith. She has worked alongside her husband, Mastersmith David Lisch in both these roles for many years.

  • Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Corey developed a passion for knives early on, starting with a collection of pocket knives. After moving to Phoenix at 18 and attending the Arizona Culinary Institute, he became captivated by high-quality knives, eventually working for a top resource in Japanese cutlery. Over the next decade, he sharpened over 100,000 knives, deepening my love for the craft. Under Master Bladesmith Ray Rybar, Corey began learning knife-making and is now working towards achieving Journeyman and Master Smith status with the American Bladesmith Society. His goal is to create knives that balance function and artistry, providing tools built to last a lifetime.

  • Brazilian artist William Porto began as a hobbyist blacksmith, working by day in a grocery store and forging knives in his spare time. After crafting his first skinning knife, he was hooked and decided to pursue bladesmithing full-time. In 2017, he made his first chef's knife, which won Best Damascus Knife at a local competition. His second culinary knife earned Best Kitchen Knife six months later, marking the beginning of his successful career.


  • Dark Pines is a two man shop ran by Bryant Hamblen and Wayne Brem. Wayne is a full time specialty machinist often working in the luxury and sport yachting world. Bryant is a designer with an eye for perfection and a knack for anything fidget. Both have always had a passion tools and machining and bring a fresh take on one of the worlds oldest tools into the world of high end knives. Dark Pines knives are CNC machined out of a small shop in Arlington WA and completely finished by hand.

  • Ron Vincent is a skilled Idaho-based blacksmith with over 40 years of experience in forging, knife-making, and farriery. Beginning his craft at age 14, he became a full-time farrier by 20 and later earned his Journeyman title. Ron has competed and won numerous forging contests throughout the Northwest. Each knife he creates is 100% handmade, crafted from USA-sourced materials with some exotic wood handles. His Damascus blades are personally forged, and every sheath is handmade from leather. With a passion for creating lasting, heirloom-quality knives, Ron’s work is built to be passed down for generations. He is a proud member of the Idaho Knife Association and the American Bladesmith Society.

  • Bozeman resident Matthew Hartwig has been making knives and blacksmithing for over 6 years. He absolutely loves the craft and the community that surrounds it. Follow his YouTube channel to learn more.

  • Niko’s knife-making journey began at 19 while balancing college and restaurant work. After discovering knifemaking on YouTube, he started with basic tools and a DIY backyard forge. As he learned and experimented, he transitioned to forging with a propane forge and upgraded his shop over the years. Today, Niko continues to refine his craft, developing his own unique style along the way. We are honored to have Niko as one of our original makers.

  • Warren Wall, a skilled knifemaker from Utah, began his bladesmithing journey in 2014 after a decade working in professional kitchens. His experience as an executive chef sparked his passion for high-performance knives. Operating out of his workshop nestled in his family’s orchard, Warren creates a variety of knives, from kitchen to camp knives, and even small axes. Orchard Forge is a name to watch in the world of custom blades.

  • Scott Joram Sweder, a master of architectural ironwork, jewelry, and knives, has been creating exceptional pieces for over ten years. Known for his craftsmanship, Scott became a champion on Forged in Fire (Season 7, Episode 16). At Iron Bear Knife and Forge, his team combines skill and passion to deliver custom metalwork that blends form, function, and sophistication, earning a reputation for excellence in the local community.

  • Justin Stinson, the creator behind Running Man Forge, started knife-making at 13 and now specializes in high-end, custom knives. Located at Travis AFB, California, his shop crafts unique cutlery and outdoor knives, including custom Damascus. Since turning his hobby into a full-time business in 2019, he has built a loyal customer base and now shares his craft by teaching others.
